Commissioned Works of Art

Kevin Williams - Commissioned Paintings

Why Commission a Work of Art?

Whatever your reasons for wanting to own an original work of art, buying commissioned art is a very personal and rewarding experience. I take the responsibility very seriously and take great care to really understand what you, the patron, really want.

An Investment

There is nothing else that compares to a commissioned painting in terms of emotional resonance but aside from the joy of owning one, they are highly likely to rise in value.

Where it Starts

It all starts with a free consultation. There are a variety of ways we can kick things off which would usually start with either a phone call, face-to-face conversation, email or perhaps a social media contact. Once your wishes are clear I will make a proposal for your approval.

What I need to Know

There are several things we need to discuss before commencement in order to ensure that everything goes smoothly and these are:

  • Your budget
  • The painting or drawing medium you prefer (if any)
  • Size finished art
  • The delivery date
  • The delivery address
  • Negotiated deposit

What Happens Next:

Once we have an agreed proposal I will plan the production of your commissioned piece which will include framing if required. I will photograph the finished work to show completion so you may make final payment which may include shipping fees if applicable. When logistically possible, I prefer to deliver the completed work in person - if this isn't possible, the delivery will be made using a reputable courier.

Important: Every original Kevin Williams work comes with a personal Certificate of Authenticity, signed and dated by me.

Balance of Payment

You are free to either pay the balance before delivery or when and if the finalised work is delivered in person and there are several ways I can take payment:

  • Cash
  • Cheque (minimum 5 days for funds to clear before delivery)
  • BACS

Don't forget that I also offer photography and video services. If you like my work and want to purchase or commission a piece by me, thank you in advance! If you just like my work – I'm very grateful!
