Catrin Finch Confirmed to 'Cut the tape' at Private Preview Opening

What great news - we've only got Catrin Finch coming to 'cut the tape' at the private preview on Friday 6th April! As a musician myself, I'm absolutely chuffed that she's taking the time out of her hectic schedule to come and support local art. If you haven’t heard her play both the harp and piano, then do yourself a favour and check her out – she’s ridiculously talented.

Catrin was a child prodigy and was appointed as the Royal Harpist to H.R.H. the Prince of Wales from 2000. Internationally acclaimed, she performs throughout the world performing solo and with orchestras whether it’s classical, folk or jazz or any other genre for that matter; she’s recorded with Bryn Terfel, Sir James Galway and Julian Lloyd-Webber and is also a composer and arranger. Catrin is well-known for her contribution to community life in the local area and I couldn’t think of anyone more fitting to open the evening.

Pity we won't get to hear her play, but it looks like being a great night, especially as we have the Taff's Well Community Singers conducted by the very gifted Taff's Well conductor and arranger Tomos Watkins performing..
