Tongwynlais is on the outskirts of Cardiff but this typical Welsh stone terraced street looks like it could be situated up the valleys. Possibly named after the wealthy Wyndham Lewis who served as magistrate, Deputy Lieutenant and Sherriff of Glamorgan while residing at the long-gone mansion Greenmeadow House, Tongwynlais.
