A charcoal drawing created onto paper which shows a section of the wondrous mixed deciduous woodland area that is Coed y Bedw. 42 acres of sublime woodland featuring Alder, Oak, Birch, Beach and Ash trees which mask over past mining activity in the area. There are many lime-loving plants present such as Traveller’s Joy, Wild Garlic and Spindle which share the habitat of birds which include Tawny Owl, Nuthatch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Treecreeper, Pied Flycatcher, Redstart, Willow Warbler and Blackcap.
